The 121st Canton Fair, also known as the 121st China Import and Export Fair is scheduled to open at Pazhou Complex on April 15, 2017. As the largest trade fair in China, the Canton Fair showcases innumerous products which attract a huge number of attendees and trade visitors from every corner of the globe year by year.
To improve public transportation experience for exhibitors, visitors as well as Guangzhou citizens traveling from Canton Fair to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, the authority set to open special bus line during the openings of the Spring Session of Canton Fair.
The spring session of 121st Canton Fair has three phases including the 1st phase from April 15 to April 19, the 2nd phase from April 23 to April 27 and the 3rd phase from May 1 to May 5. The Airport Express Canton Fair special line will be available during the whole spring session and its operation time is from 12:00 to 18:00. Planned frequency is every 30 minutes while it is adjustable according to the actual traffic volume. During the transportation peak when the Canton Fair is about to closing, more buses will be added and it will be available every 5 minutes. Distance from Pazhou Complex to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is about 45 kilometers. To take this Special Bus Line, it takes about 50 minutes and ticket price is CNY 25 Yuan per person. Its pick up point is at Lane 1, the Complex Middle Road, Area A, Pazhou Complex. Passenger can locate it through the guide signs, the Canton Fair Map or with the help of on-site volunteers. Airport expresses bounding for Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport can take passengers directly to the departures hall where passengers can get their boarding pass and check their luggage. The Airport may be busy and crowded during Canton Fair and it may be time consuming to do so there. Now it allows you to go through related procedures just at the departure point before you travel the airport bus. Upon arrival to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, passengers can transfer to an electric vehicle so that they can be taken to the designated security channel as well as corresponding boarding gate. The new approach is expected to save a lot of time for all travelers.
